What We Do With This Energy + October 21st New Moon Ceremony

New Moon ceremony, Tuesday, October 21st, 7:30 am Hawaii time

Aloha Kākou,

Yesterday, something unprecedented happened. Millions of people around the world stepped outside their doors and said: I'm here. I matter. We matter.

The exact number may never be known—7 million, 10 million, more—but the energy is undeniable. People showed up.

And now the real question: What do we do with all that energy?

Ram Dass understood something profound: "True love is unconquerable and irresistible. It goes on gathering power and spreading itself until, eventually, it transforms everything it touches."

What if yesterday was the beginning of something even more powerful than protest?

What if millions of people are ready to unify their intention around what we actually want to create together?

Because here's what we know: Across every culture gathered in this circle—from Hawaii to Colombia to Africa to New Zealand to Europe to Asia—we all want basically the same things:

  • Healthy, thriving children and families

  • Safety for women and children

  • Clean water, nourishing food, breathable air

  • The freedom to live with dignity

  • Communities where everyone belongs

We have far more in common than we have differences.

Yesterday proved that people are willing to show up. The question is: can we harness this energy toward a shared positive vision—a world where all life thrives?

This is exactly what Ilarion "Kuuyux" Merculieff speaks to—from 10,000 years of Aleutian wisdom:

“Get out of the mind, into the heart. Be present in the moment. Set your intention in harmony with all that is. The rest is taken care of.”

Whether you marched yesterday or prayed at home, whether you spoke or listened—how we show up matters as much as that we show up.

When we pour our energy into what we're against, we feed it. When we focus on clear vision—from the heart—we call forth what we truly want to see.

"Focus on what you want to see in the world."

As Don Alejandro said before his passing, "The people who will navigate this time best are the people of the fire. The people of the heart."

Your heart knows what it must do.
The mind reasons. The heart remembers.

Every month, as we gather across continents and time zones, something shifts. The isolated becomes interconnected. The scattered finds its center. The forgotten remembers itself.

Your presence—exactly as you are—contributes to this field of coherence.

Support this Sacred Work

These New Moon ceremonies are freely offered to all. Your donations help sustain this work and nurture the creation of educational resources that preserve and carry Indigenous wisdom forward.

Every contribution is a thread in the blanket of peace we’re weaving together across the world.

Our Shared Impact

Every time we gather, our circle strengthens the preservation of ancestral wisdom, supports the protection of sacred territories, and creates bridges of understanding between traditions.

Your presence matters.

Let us gather in this sacred stillness. Let us return to the breath of our becoming.

E hoʻi i ka hanu. Return to the breath.

Warm aloha,
Your Kaiāulu ʻOhana
