We Are Born as Peacemakers: Diné Wisdom + February New Moon Eclipse
New Moon Ceremony, Tuesday, February 17th at 7:30 am Hawaii

Aloha Kākou,
We carry within us more than we remember. In the Diné tradition, we are each born a precious child of creator — peacemakers by nature, governed by the same laws that guide the seasons, the tides, and every breath we take.
During our January New Moon Ceremony, Patricia Anne Davis, Diné Elder, shared the creation wisdom of her people and reminded us of a truth we all carry: that the natural order law lives within each of us, and that this New Moon is a time for planting seed ideas in alignment with that order."It gives me comfort to think that even in really chaotic times, there is always order at some level of reality in this world," Catherine shared. "Those fundamental pillars provide me an anchor in those times when I'm looking at the world and I just can't make sense of it."
"We are human beings. Therefore we are born as peacemakers. This is an inclusive language, ceremonial language... This in breath and out breath is that symbol of reciprocity, in which there is a giving and receiving and a balance in harmony with nature, with all living beings."
Patricia also reminded us that what we intend, visualize, speak, and plan — we are putting into action in our decision-making for the next seven generations. As she closed with prayers in the Diné language, blessing the four directions, she affirmed: all is in perfect order and completion with our intention.
