The Voice of the Ancestors ~ A Transmission from Elder Iya Tahirah + October New Moon
New Moon ceremony, Tuesday, October 21st, 7:30 am Hawaii time
Aloha Kākou,
As we prepare to gather under the October New Moon, we're still carrying a transmission from last month's Equinox—one that keeps finding its way back to us.
Elder Iya Tahirah spoke from the shores of St. Croix, the very place where worlds collided, where a gateway opened. And her words landed like a prayer being answered:
"When the hearts and minds can join together… we remember the ancestral code from all the Indigenous prophecies. This is what we are called to remember and give birth to."
She reminded us:
We’re not here to do something new.
We’re here to be what we already are.
The original instruction still lives within us.
Waiting for stillness. For silence. For resonance.
"I am the peace that I call for. I am the balance that I call for. I am the ocean. I am the wind. I am the mountain. I am the universe—because the universe lives in and through me."
For three days before that gathering, thunder roared from the ocean. She heard it not just as sound, but as a call—a directive from Oya, the Mother of Storms: listen deeper.
