The Moon Calls Us to Gather: New Moon Ceremony, November 1st @ 7:30 am HST
New Moon Ceremony November 1st @ 7:30 am Hawai'i time
November New Moon Ceremony 2023, Kaua’i
Aloha Kākou,
Have you ever experienced a moment when time stands still, where ancient song carries wisdom across oceans and continents? This is precisely what happened at our last New Moon gathering. As Mamo Lorenzo's voice filled our virtual space, we felt the dissolving of physical distance, the awakening of something profound in our hearts.
We were especially moved when community members from Asheville, North Carolina, joined us in the wake of Hurricane Helene. As Auntie Puna offered her prayers and teachings about resilience, we witnessed the true power of our circle—a space where ancient wisdom meets present needs, where each voice is heard, and where every experience is held in our collective heart. This is what happens when we gather with intention: borders fade, time bends, and we remember our deep connection to each other and to the earth herself.
This is why we gather. This is why we invite you to join us for our next New Moon ceremony.
November New Moon: A Sacred Pause in Momentous Times
As we approach November 1st, just days before the U.S. presidential election, we feel called to create a space of profound connection and purpose. In times when societal energies run high, gathering in ceremony becomes our anchor, our way of remembering what lies beneath the surface of current events.
Something extraordinary is unfolding. We join hands with communities around the world, answering a sacred call from the Council of Indigenous Sages of Colombia. Under the guidance of Pacha K'anchay, Mamo Lorenzo Izquierdo Arroyo, and Kumu Hula Puna Kalama Dawson, we'll add our prayers to a global wave of ceremony, helping to elevate Earth's frequency and restore humanity's sacred relationship with the natural world.
Our circle has always been a space where differences dissolve into unity, where we recognize that beneath all external events, we share the same hopes for peace, well-being, and harmony in our communities. This New Moon offers us a precious opportunity to remember the deeper threads that connect us all, to ground ourselves in timeless wisdom, and to tap into that eternal current of connection.
