Finding Order in Chaos: Catherine's Wisdom + February New Moon Eclipse
New Moon Ceremony, Tuesday, February 17th at 7:30 am Hawaii

Aloha Kākou,
In times when the world feels, as Catherine puts it, “bananas” - there’s wisdom in returning to fundamentals.
During our January New Moon Ceremony, Catherine Murupaenga-Ikenn (Ngāti Kurī, Te Rarawa Māori peoples) from Aotearoa (New Zealand) shared a teaching about Tangaroa — the supernatural ancestor of the oceans and seas, closely associated with healing.
She beautifully explains how nature’s cycles - like the water moving from ocean to sky to land and back again - remind us that even in chaotic times, there is always order at some level of reality. Catherine also shares the touching story of the kauri tree and the whale, brothers who chose different paths - one staying on land, one returning to the sea - teaching us about adaptability in times of change.
"It gives me comfort to think that even in really chaotic times, there is always order at some level of reality in this world," Catherine shared. "Those fundamental pillars provide me an anchor in those times when I'm looking at the world and I just can't make sense of it."
Her invitation: when everything feels overwhelming, come back to fundamentals. Come back to the laws of nature, which are unmatched.
