Balance in Our Minds = Closer to the Earth

Share Chants, Plant Seeds, Plant Trees, and Understand the Origin of Creation

Pacha K’anchay (Yanakuna, Colombia) and Mona Polacca (Hopi/Havasupai/Tewa, Arizona, USA) on Kaua’i, 2017

Aloha Kākou,

At our January New Moon Ceremony, Pacha K’anchay reminded us that to have more balance in our minds, we must be closer to the Earth:

This moment, to all of you brothers and sisters, it's a new time.

It’s not only because the calendar says we are doing one circle around the Sun, because for us, we are in the middle of the year. The new year for us is in June - the Sun circle, the big ceremony of the Sun on the 21st of June.

…the moon is starting to go ahead and telling us the things that we need to do to understand, to have the reflection, to have the rituals, to have the meetings, the gatherings that we need to do with our people, to feed the Earth, to say thank you for the people that have passed away and plant trees because this is the most thing that our elders say right now.

If you want to make balance in your mind, in your heart, with all of you, you need to make chants, you need to plant seeds, you need to plant trees, you need to be more close with the Earth and understand the most important about the history of the creation to understand the origin of all the creation, because we are here speaking about the origin.

For us, the law of the origin is the word of life of the creation and we need to understand how to continue to work through that word of life, to share with the humanity all the things that we have

- Pacha K’anchay (Yanakuna, Colombia), Global Coordinator, ONIC, Council of Indigenous Sages of Colombia

Join us this Friday, February 9th, at 7:30 am Hawai’i Time for the February New Moon Ceremony.

Inspired by Pacha K'anchay, Mamo Lorenzo Izquierdo Arroyo, and Kumu Hula Puna Kalama Dawson, we gather in response to a global call to action from the Council of Indigenous Sages of Colombia. Their invitation aims to synchronize indigenous ceremonies across the globe to raise the frequency on Earth and harmonize humanity's relationship with the natural world.

Your presence and participation are vital in creating this coherent field of energy. Together, we can contribute to a positive shift, fostering a deeper connection with ourselves, each other, and Earth.

Zoom details below.

We invite you to join us.
