Ancestral Wisdom & Aloha Connection: Mamo Lorenzo Returns to Kaua'i

Next New Moon Ceremony December 1st @ 7:30 am Hawai'i time

Aloha Kākou,

Under November's new moon, a profound gathering unfolded as wisdom keepers from across the globe shared their teachings. Our virtual circle was honored by the presence of Ilarion Kuuyux Merculieff, Auntie Puna, Grandmother Eila, Mamo Lorenzo, Elder Bill Jones, Elder Ed Sparks, Catherine Murupaenga-Ikeen, and Iya Tahirah Abubakr, each bringing forward essential wisdom for these times.

From the heart of Colombia's mountains, Mamo Lorenzo shared a luminous story. It was a story of hope, whispering of our connection to nature, to our shared destiny as one human family. He spoke of a child, abandoned by humans, yet embraced by the forest herself. The trees sheltered him, the rivers quenched his thirst, and the animals became his companions. This child, untouched by human ambition, learned to hear the Creator's voice in the rustling leaves and the cascading waterfalls. He sang songs that brought harmony to all growing things, songs that coaxed rain from the clouds and ripened the fruit. While others were traditionally groomed for leadership, this forest-dwelling child became a leader of a different kind. He learned sacred songs that refreshed and harmonized every grain, plant, tuber, fruit, and vegetable. His wisdom, born from the heart of creation itself, whispered a profound truth: true spiritual leadership lies not in power but in listening to the whispers of the wind and the wisdom of Earth herself.

"The future wise ones, or the future spiritual fathers and spiritual mothers have to be resilient, or else it's not going to work," Mamo Lorenzo explained. "Not everyone will want to praise us. All of us will be criticized. We need to be like the sun. The sun shines everywhere. The sun doesn't just shine in some places, but everywhere. You need to be like the sun."

Mamo Lorenzo Izquierdo Arroyo, Colombia

In these words, Mamo Lorenzo offers medicine for our times: like the sun that shines without discrimination, we're called to remain steadfast in our purpose, offering our gifts freely to all beings. This wisdom invites us to cultivate deep inner resilience, drawing strength from nature herself as we walk this path of service.

Through ancient stories and sacred songs, Mamo Lorenzo illuminates a path forward for walking together in harmony. We invite you to experience his full message in the video above. Special thanks to Olivia Frazao for providing English translations at 8 and 19 minutes
